I can relate to this because i had to move from Wellington to greymouth and i had to leave all my friends, my dad and his side of the family up there. When i was told that we were moving to greymouth i didn't want to move at all, i was against it so much and so was my dad. When i got down here i did missed my dad and my cat a lot but i got over it within a month or two. To be completely honest it wasn't that bad being the new kid i got along well with most of the people i had just meet.
